The o rings that seal the connections between the trigger handle or the nozzle can wear out.
The thermal release valve allows hot water to exit the pressure washer if the water temperature becomes excessively high.
A crack in the plastic wand housing can cause a leak as well.
Once you ve inserted the o ring inside the pressure washer wand use your finger to make sure that it is seated well in the recess of the nozzle.
If the pressure washer is left running while it is not spraying water the water in the pump will begin to heat up.

If your power washer is leaking water directly from the pump and there is no noticeable damage such as a crack on the pump it is likely that the internal piston seals are worn or broken.
When you re sure that the o ring is secure connect the pressure water wand with the pump.
There is an o ring in the connection between the wand tip and the handle and also an o ring in the connection between the handle and the hose.
When you screw it down the brass end of the wand cuts the o ring when you tighten it down.
The leak could be due to the normal operation of the thermal release valve.
Use a 2 0 mm flathead screwdriver or ice pick to stick and remove the o ring from the quick connect nozzle at.
