All bathroom outlets in the house don t have power in them.

In fact it may be outside and may have tripped because someone left an extension cord plugged into it during wet weather. Remove the faceplate of the outlet that is not working after making sure that the circuit is turned off. It may not even be close to the plug you want to use. Check that all of the wires are properly connected to the outlet and that all pigtailed wires are firmly connected underwire nuts.

Other outlets are ok just the ones in the bathrooms don t work. Tripped circuit breakers aren t always apparent. A gfci that pops will also cause all outlets further down the line on the same circuit to stop working. Then reset the designated and hopefully labeled kitchen breaker in the breaker box by turning it off and then on again.

On a bathroom sink it s often necessary to remove the retaining nut and extract the pivot rod first. If it pops back to the tripped position there s a problem in the wiring or in something that s plugged into the circuit. If you don t see a tripped breaker firmly press every breaker to the off position. Then switch them back on.

These have a test and reset button on them. Other devices or outlets that are tied in with these gfci s look similar to the other plugs in your home. If you want to remove the assembly you may be able to pull it right out. Plug your charger into other outlets in the room to see if they re working.

Check your home s breaker. However there is still light in the bathrooms. Bare copper or green plastic coated wires are ground wires. The first thing to do is to unplug everything that is plugged into all the outlets that do not have power.
